EIN Quantum NRW
NRW joins forces for the dawn of the quantum age
More than a dozen research institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia are part of the state-wide network and are joining forces with companies from industry on their own initiative in order to further expand national technology leadership in the research and development of quantum technologies, train specialists for this future field and develop applications for business and industry in the heart of Europe. The founding partners of the network come from all over North Rhine-Westphalia. They include the universities of Aachen, Bochum, Bonn, Dortmund, Duisburg-Essen, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Münster, Paderborn and Siegen as well as the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Forschungszentrum Jülich and the institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft based in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The partners in EIN Quantum NRW are increasingly committed to teaching, but also to the further training of young scientists and specialists. As representatives of the University of Duisburg-Essen, we are developing corresponding offers and materials for teaching and training events.
